About Us
The Fullerton Secondary Teachers Organization (FSTO) is the representative organization for certificated employees of the Fullerton Union High School District. This organization is part of the North Orange County United Teachers UniServ along with other chapters from Brea Olinda, Fullerton Elementary, La Habra, and Buena Park.
The organization is comprised of an Executive Board and a Representative Council. The Executive Board is tasked with the guidance and direction of the organization. While the Representative Council is the legislative branch of the organization, consisting of member representatives from each of the school sites in the district. Together these two facets of the organization take part in contract negotiations, grievance processing, training and development of current members, identifying future leaders of the organization, and provide support for each of their members.
Fullerton Secondary TO is a member organization of the California Teachers Association (CTA), and the National Education Association (NEA). Together with these organizations, FSTO strives to keep their members informed of local, state, and national education policy, as well as defending and furthering education in general. All for the betterment of the children of the Fullerton Union High School District.
